Chester McGlockton, Stanford football defensive assistant, died Nov. 30 in Danville, Calif.
Tag Mansour, a former chair of the pharmacology department at the School of Medicine, died Nov. 4 in Stanford.

John McCarthy, a professor emeritus of computer science who coined the term “artificial intelligence,” died Oct. 24 in Stanford.
Charles Horngren, professor emeritus at the Graduate School of Business, died Oct. 23 in Palo Alto.
Abninder Litt, who was a student in the Graduate School of Business, died Oct. 17 in Marin County, Calif.
Gary Glazer, a former chair of the School of Medicine Department of Radiology and a pioneer in the profession, died Oct. 16 in Stanford.
Anthony Siegman, a laser pioneer who was a professor emeritus of electrical engineering, died Oct. 7 in Stanford.
Dora Goldstein, a leading expert on alcoholism and a professor emerita of molecular pharmacology at the School of Medicine, died Oct. 2 in Palo Alto.

Donald Dunn, professor emeritus at the School of Engineering, died Sept. 27 in Stanford.
Albert Hastorf, professor emeritus of psychology, former provost and former dean of the School of Humanities & Sciences, died Sept. 26 in Palo Alto.
Pamela Rymer, a judge on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and a member of the university’s Board of Trustees from 1991 to 2001, died Sept. 21 in San Francisco.
Malcolm Bagshaw, a pioneer in developing radiation therapies for cancer and a former chair of the departments of radiology and radiation oncology at the School of Medicine, died Sept 18 in Palo Alto.
Bayless Manning, who was the dean of the Law School from 1964 to 1971, died Sept. 18 in Boise, Idaho.
Robert C. Carlson, a professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering for more than four decades, died Sept. 6 in Palo Alto.
Leonard Ratner, who was a professor emeritus of music and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, died Sept. 2 in Palo Alto.

Leon “Lee” J. Schipper, a senior research engineer at Stanford’s Precourt Energy Efficiency Center, died Aug. 16 in Berkeley.

Blair Fuller, a former lecturer in creative writing, died July 23 in Petaluma, Calif.

Bruce Tune, who founded the Division of Pediatric Nephrology at the School of Medicine, died June 25 in Palo Alto.

Richard Randell, a former art professor and nationally known artist and sculptor, died May 25 in Windsor, Calif.
James Jucker, a retired industrial engineering professor and former associate dean of the School of Engineering, died May 4 in Bayonet Point, Fla.
Robert Helliwell, an emeritus professor of electrical engineering, died May 3 in Palo Alto.

Max Mathews, an emeritus professor of music at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics, died April 21 in San Francisco.

Lawrence Crowley, a former vice president of medical affairs, died March 30 in Cupertino.
Warren Christopher, who served on the university’s Board of Trustees from 1972-1992, including three years as chair of the board, died March 18 in Los Angeles.
David Rumelhart, who was a psychology professor from 1987 to 1998, died March 13 in Michigan.
Peter Wood, an emeritus professor of medicine, died March 3 in Palo Alto.

Emma Bakes, who was a student in the School of Medicine, died Feb. 28 in Menlo Park, Calif.
Bill Alhouse, who was an assistant baseball coach in the 1950s and 1960s, died Feb. 24 in Palo Alto.
John Linvill, who was a professor emeritus of electrical engineering, died Feb. 19 in Palo Alto.

Sarah Adicoff, who was an undergraduate student, died Jan. 20 in Seattle.
